In its first year of production by Colorado TINTS, I'm Harvey Milk was selected for inclusion in the United Solo Fall 2023 Festival Off-Broadway at Theatre Row. According to Festival coordinators, I'm Harvey Milk was selected to be "part of a diverse group of voices from across the world."
United Solo presents solo shows on variety of platforms. United Solo believes that artists are capable of connecting with global audiences and focusing on the uniqueness of human beings. Through the exploration of existential themes, solo artists reflect upon political, economic, religious, and social experiences. In doing so, many inspire us to take action. The diversity of voices unites us in a constellation of unique solo expressions.
Theatre Row is an Off-Broadway multi-theater complex in the heart of the Theater District that serves as a lively, accessible venue for diverse audiences.
I'm Harvey Milk stars Ben Beasley as the iconic LGBTQ+ rights leader. I'm Harvey Milk is written by Mike Broemmel and directed by Greg West. The executive producer of the play is Jennifer Dempsey.
